We're so excited to celebate with you

Like most couples these days, we met on a dating app. I found William's profile and thought "well, he's not bad looking. Oh look a corgi!" So I liked the picture of the dog and conversations started within the app. Less than a week of messaging, Will asked me to game night at Token Tavern, a vintage and modern arcade/ board game pub. Our date was on a Tuesday and I even hesitated going but I thought "It's just a date. I don't have to marry him" and went anyway. I purposefully arrived a little late and texted I was walking up. He responded his description, he was wearing a white coat at the bar. Thankfully he looked better than his pictures however he wasn't wearing a white coat, he was in a white zip up Hollister Hoodie (which of course I teased later on). We started off the date with a drink and fell easily into conversation. I even asked all the red flag questions, "who did you vote for, how do you feel about kids, do you see yourself staying in one place for long, do you like cats?" After establishing we could get on, we played a few arcade games, Pac man, pin ball, etc. He finally started to relax when I slipped a few curse words during Shoot the Buck (I was determined to win). I could feel the night getting later (8:45pm) and I tried my best to casually look at my watch but unfortunately I wasn't stealth enough since he commented on it. I apologized greatly and told him I usually went to bed early since I woke up early. He laughed and confessed that he does the same. Sometime during the date he casually dropped that he likes Harry Potter (my heart went into a pitter patter). Not only does he like HP, he purchased a Hufflepuff letterman jacket (stick a fork in me I'm done). As we ended the date, I asked him out on a second date, the 2nd Fantastic Beasts movie and that was that. After a couple years of dating frogs, I've finally found my Prince, William Prince.
