Maid of Honor
Sister of the bride, AKA the best sister ever!!! I grew up stealing clothes from Kate's closet, getting makeup and hair help (even after she gave me clown makeup on purpose), and getting your classic big sister advice. Kate has helped shape me to be who I am and I'm incredibly grateful
Matron of Honor
Matron of Honor and one of my cherished best friends, Lily and I met in a lab in college. We were lab partners and I named a bacteriophage after her! She's a great adventure buddy and the world's best hugger. Lily brings joy and laughter to any situation
Bridesmaid
Taylor and I lived together at Penn in the Agatha House, growing as sisters in Christ. She is a film-score connoisseur with a big smile and an even bigger heart. Taylor has been there through many tears and many laughs and is one of the most selfless people in the world, even when she's super cold
Bridesmaid
Maddy and I lived together in the Manor, the Catholic women's house at Pitt. Maddy is hands-down the best Sushi Go player on planet Earth. From dancing to Everything is Awesome in our living room to exploding her ceramic pot on a cooking adventure, we've sure had our share of goofy fun
Bridesmaid
Liv and I lived together for a year and a half at Pitt. We were freshman roomies and made many midnight cookie dough runs to Market to Go. Even in our non-food adventures, she is still one of the most fun people out there. Liv and I are like sisters and I'm so thankful for her authentic friendship
Bridesmaid
Julya is the sister of the Groom and I'm happy to call her a friend. Julya owns the best cat on the planet and is also a great dog mom. She was there for many of my Erie-firsts: sailing, Erie winter, and I think the day I twisted my ankle meeting Andrew's family for the first time. I'm excited to have many more adventures with her!
Bridesmaid
The frog queen. Julia is the person to call for odd and spontaneous trips like Viking bonfires and graveyard visits. She's also a friend who is incredibly artistic with her embroidery, photography, and passion for poetry. Julia is so smart and saintly and we've been dear friends since we lived together at the Manor.
Best Man
My brother and best man, Henry and I have been both friends and enemies for all his life (but mostly friends). We have the same sense of humor and share a lot of the same interests. As my brother and friend I am happy to acknowledge him as my best man.
Groomsman
Alex is my roommate, and has been my friend for most of my time at Pitt and beyond. Alex is a good friend and challenges me often to try new things, from working with Vagabond Ministries and getting me interested in coffee, Alex has been one of those friends that has improved my life, and I am honored to have him as a groomsman.
Groomsman
I have been friends with Louis through many different stages of our lives. We were roommates at the Fratican men's house, and I saw him meet his now wife Lily, get a job in the midst of the pandemic, and even have his first child. He has been my and Lauren's friend through our meeting, and now will be a part of our wedding.
Groomsman
I met Josh my freshman year in bible study, but I really got to know him well as a roomate at the Fratican. Josh is the biggest goofball and we have had lots of adventures together, including a 32 hour non-stop drive to Phoenix Arizona from Pittsburgh. Josh's relationship with Nicole has been an inspiration for me, and I have a lot of respect for his work as a Focus Missionary.
Groomsman
Nick King has been my Roommate longer than anyone else, both at the Fratican and my current location. He is a man of many interests and passions, and we have a shared taste in movies, books, music, etc. We have been on many adventures together and I am honored to have him as a groomsman at my wedding.
Groomsman
Tommy has been a good friend to me since the time I started dating Lauren. As brother of the Bride, he is protective and always making sure to hold me to my best. We have enjoyed going to a variety of breweries together and searching for towed cars. I am honored to have my future brother in law with me as a groomsman.
Groomsman
Pat took me into his bible study my freshman year and has been a spiritual role model for me since. Pat has introduced me to many of my favorite books and authors, and remains one of my best friends. He and his wife Maddie are both good friends of Lauren and me.
