Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attired. We kindly request that men wear suits or dress shirts, dress pants, and dress shoes, and women wear cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, etc. Please refrain from any jeans, denim, or shorts.

Question

Where is the ceremony located and how do we get there?

Answer

The ceremony will be located on the top of Buttermilk Mountain, at small venue called Cliffhouse. To get to Cliffhouse, you will take the Summit Express ski lift located just east of Buttermilk Lodge, between Buttermilk Lodge and Inn at Aspen. Staff will be available to answer questions, give directions, and help assist guests onto the lift. We encourage guests to leave approximately 15 minutes of extra time to get up to the ceremony space. The lift will begin taking guests up the mountain at approximately 3:45 pm. Following the ceremony, there will be a champagne toast for the bride and groom, and then guests can begin taking the lift back down the mountain to Buttermilk Lodge for the reception. The lift will be available to take guests back down the mountain until 6:00 pm.

Question

Are the wedding and reception venues indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors - weather permitting. The reception space will be indoor and outdoor, with dinner taking place fully indoors.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, this is an adults-only celebration. However, we have connected directly with Aspen Babysitting & Nanny Company to provide childcare resources for those who may be interested in bringing their children to Aspen. Please see the link below for more information, and feel free to reach out to Jenni with questions. https://www.aspenbabysittingcompany.com/
