Is there a Rehearsal Dinner and am I invited?

Answer

We will not be having a traditional Rehearsal Dinner. As many of our family and friends are from out of town, we would like to relax and catch up with you! Embassy Suites offers a complimentary evening cocktail hour in the lobby bar from 5pm- 7pm to those who have rooms booked at the hotel. Jessica and David will be there enjoying this time with whomever is staying at the hotel the night before the big day! (The bar will still be open after this time, however it will be a cash bar after the 5-7 time) We hope to see you there!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal/ black-tie optional. We ask that a tuxedo or a suit and tie be worn/ an evening gown, midi, or knee-length cocktail dress!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We are so excited for you to witness our love at the ceremony! We would ask that you arrive by 3pm so we can start our ceremony on time at 3:30pm!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We’re going “unplugged”! Please give your mobile devices and cameras a rest during our ceremony. You’ll get free images to share from our photographer! Feel free to take photos after the ceremony, at the cocktail hour, and beyond!

How do I reserve a room for the hotel block?

When is check in to the hotel?

Answer

Check-in is at 4pm. Please note the the ceremony begins promptly at 3:30. We have spoken with the hotel and if rooms are available before 4pm, they will be more than happy to check you in early. The best way to make sure you are at the ceremony on time is to stay Saturday night at the hotel, or come wedding ready to the ceremony and check in once we return from the reception!

What is the block rate for the hotel rooms?

Answer

The great thing about Embassy Suites is that every room is a suite! There are a couple options for rooms: 2 Room Suite with King Bed: $199/night and 2 Room Suite with 2 Queen Beds: $209/night. The room block is available at these rates for Saturday and Sunday!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Will the ceremony have a cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! The cocktail hour will take place immediately after the ceremony at 4pm! Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be both in and outdoors.

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

There will be a variety of fall colors all around the wedding! Our bridesmaids will be wearing the color, vintage rose and sage, flowers will have greens, peach, light browns, and light pinks. PS, the bride will be the one in white!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While you can't predict the exact forecast for our special day, we foresee a fall chill! The Stone House has a coat check along with heaters outside to keep everyone warm!

Will parking be available?

Answer

We have ensured, those driving themselves will have complimentary valet service upon arrival to the Stone House!

Is transportation available to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle for those staying at the hotel! Please be at the entrance of the hotel for pick up by 2:20pm, the shuttle will leave by 2:25pm!
