Michaela is here as often as she can to go out kayaking or read a good book, and Ben has gotten convinced to come hang out here quite a bit, too!

White Rock Lake

Ben absolutely loves baseball, and we'll be in the home of the Texas Rangers!  If you're staying the weekend, there's even a game at the stadium on Saturday against the Seattle Mariners that you can catch.

Choctaw Stadium

One of our earliest dates was coming out to Six Flags and going on every ride as much as possible. It's lots of fun, but can get a bit pricy, so try to go with a group and get your tickets ahead of time!

Six Flags Over Texas

This is an awesome museum that kids will love - actual and adult-kids!

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Right in the middle of Downtown Dallas is a wonderful park with free community events happening every day!  They also have food trucks to choose from and a little water feature for the kids, so it's easy to hang out here for a few hours.

Klyde Warren Park

Downtown Grapevine is full of cute shops, wineries, art, and little parks.  It's lots of fun to walk around and explore.

Historic Downtown Grapevine Association

This is a great area to explore and get a feel for regular Dallas life!  There's lots of vendors that come out on Saturday mornings, but you can also just hang out and try good food, look at shops, and walk around downtown.
