It is semi-formal wedding attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. The ceremony is at the peak of July, so keep the summer heat in mind! Please avoid wearing denim and white!
Since the venue is limited capacity, we are only able to allow plus ones for family and close friends. Please note the number of guests listed on your RSVP, this is the total number of guests invited.
We will be serving a large selection of hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, followed by a buffet with a selection of chicken, beef, fish, vegetarian dishes, sides, and salads. There will be gluten-friendly and kid-friendly food options. Desserts to follow.
The cocktail hour and reception will have an open bar, including beer, wine, and liquor, until 9 pm. No shots are allowed per the venue. From 9-10 pm, it will be a cash bar. The afterparty will be a cash bar as well! Tipping your bartenders is always appreciated!
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us further with a gift, you can visit our registry linked on our website. You can have it delivered to our home at 56 Pierce St Apt. 1 Binghamton, NY 13903. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
There is not a shuttle from the hotel to the venue. You will need to self transport or rideshare (Uber/Lyft) to the venue for the ceremony. There are shuttles for the end of the night to transport you from the venue to the hotel if you are unable to drive. Guests are allowed, and encouraged, to leave their vehicles at the venue overnight. Our venue has a dedicated, safe parking lot for this purpose!
Yes, there is a hotel block for the "Gilmore Matzura wedding" at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Verona. The block is available for Friday and Saturday night. You may book for one, or both nights. Please see the "Travel" tab on our website for more information and a link for online reservations.
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4 pm, and we will not wait on guests to arrive. Please arrive by 3:45 the latest to ensure that you are seated prior to the beginning of the ceremony. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, we ask that you wait outside the ceremony site until the completion of the ceremony as to not interrupt the proceedings.
