Inside the Virginia Inn Hotel, The Ebbitt Room is one of the best restaurants in Cape May. They are known for their innovative farm-to-table cuisine (From Beach Plum Farm!!) They have a lively little bar room or moody eclectic fireplace room. If you can't find a seat, there are often seats on their southern-style wrap-around porch.
