The bride and groom love the Baking Company's breads for avocado toast and their cakes (bittersweet chocolate mousse or cheesecakes) when they want something sweet. Amelia loves to stop for a Glickman on her drive to school! In the early days of their dating, the couple would often grab the salt and herb bagel to eat by the beach.
If you're looking for the future Muzzys on a sunday morning you'll likely find them here playing scrabble. Korey loves to drink a maple Lavendar latte while eating the biscuits and gravy. Amelia enjoys sipping on a rosemary brown sugar latte and eating a BC burrito while she dominates the scrabble board. This is also the bride and groom's favorite spot to find new art for their home!
This is Amelia's go-to coffee shop during the school year. It is conveniently located a couple blocks from the elementary school and they make the most delicious white cinnamon mocha! During the school year Amelia and Korey have breakfast dates here before school on Korey's days off. They are closed on Sundays so make sure you stop on Saturday!
This is the couple's go-to dinner spot for special occasions! If you come into town on Friday and are looking for a nice place to eat we recommend it! Every time we go, we always get the mussels to start! Make sure you dip the bread in the sauce, you won't regret it! Korey loves the steaks and old fashioned. Amelia orders whatever the seafood dish is with a dirty martini to wash it down. The picture above is the couple after their first Good Thyme date!
Amelia and Korey LOVE tacos! Almost every week the couple goes for tacos here. Some of our favorites are the quesabirria, choripollo (on the especialidades side), shrimp chimichangas, the queso, and pretty much any of the single tacos! Amelia likes the sake margaritas. The picture above is of Amelia and Korey having Taqueria La Monarca as their first meal in the new rental house they moved into.
If you like burgers, mac and cheese, beer, and good ranch you have to check out the Alley. The couple regularly visits the Alley with friends. The Alley is perfect for a snack and a blackberry old fashioned or a beer before or after movies with the Ashland Ford Crew. It also is where Kennedi, Nora, and Amelia often catch up with each other. If you come into town on Friday or are planning to stay later on Sunday we recommend stopping by the Alley!
If you like fun drinks, you'll love the Copper Crow. They have tons of drink options and all of them are delicious. Usually this is a spot the couple takes guests when they visit. We also like to go here with friends.
If you're looking for something to do that isn't eating or drinking, Houghton Falls is a great option! It is a beautiful trail that leads to an incredible view of Lake Superior! It is also relatively accessible and is considered an easy route.
This is one of Amelia's favorite beaches! If you want to relax on the beach or refill your water bottle with some artesian water this is the place to do it!
