We met through a dating app, the one that's "designed to be deleted," and we did just that. There's no sponsorship from said app, so no name dropping here ;). We immediately bonded over our love for The Office and found ourselves going on more and more brewery dates (about 150 now). Somewhere along the way of those pints, watching/attending Wild games, meeting each other's families and friends, and taking trips to the cabin we realized we couldn't image a life without each other.

Kordell asked Colleen to marry him at her favorite place, her family's cabin on Sorenson Lake! He worked with Colleen's friends and family to plan the surprise proposal. He asked for her parents blessing Easter weekend at the cabin while digging the pontoon out of a pile of snow and ice. He then made a group chat with both of Colleen's sisters, Erin and Meghan, as well as her best friend, Amanda, to help bring his plan into action. He decided that a proposal at the cabin would be the perfect setting. Kordell thought that the weekend of June 3rd would be the perfect surprise because they would both be at the cabin anyway celebrating Colleen's mom's birthday and her sister Erin's college friends would also be up that weekend. The weekend finally arrived, Colleen had planned a round of golf for everyone the morning of the 3rd. So that morning, as everyone was getting ready for the day, Kordell asked Colleen to help him grab something from his car. Confused, Colleen followed Kordell as they walked down by the lake. Kordell started talking about their time together and how he couldn't imagine going through life with anyone else. He got down on one knee and Colleen said yes! Now, we cannot wait to celebrate with our favorite people!
