Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. If they're invited, their names will be under your name when you RSVP.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony", which means no phones or cameras! The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this special moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

What is the dress code?

Semi-Formal Attire/Dressy Casual!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is being held at the 1868 Farmhouse in Boone. It will be held outside (weather permitting), signs will be located on the grounds to assist you in the right direction. The reception is also being held at the 1868 Farmhouse. The reception will be held inside and outside.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels?

Answer

There will not be transportation to the venue, but a bus will be taking guests back to the hotel from the venue. Shifts of guests can be taken back to the hotel at 9, 10, and 11 pm. The bus can hold 45 people at a time.

Is there parking near the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot outside of the venue. Guests can leave their cars overnight (if needed), all cars must be picked up by noon the following day.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 pm. Please arrive in advance to park and find your seat.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will be directed to the venue for cocktail hour where snacks and beverages will be served.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly. Please RSVP by August 15, 2023.

What food will be served?

Answer

There will be charcuterie boards out during cocktail hour. Pork loin, roast beef, chicken breast with wild rice, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, and various salads will be served for dinner.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Beer and wine will be served up to a certain amount. Once the limit has been reached, service will be switched to a cash bar.
