Of course not! Formal attire is strongly encouraged but not required. We care first and foremost that you are there to celebrate with us rather than how formal you are dressed. We simply ask that you come dressed your best with what you have already, and that you avoid jeans, sweatpants, T-shirts, hoodies, and other casual wear. Of course, if you are looking for an excuse to go shopping for a fancy new outfit, feel free to use our wedding as such!
Guest are not required to wear our wedding colors. We suggest you avoid wearing solid white (typically reserved for the wedding party), but aside from that please wear whatever color makes you happiest!

Kids are absolutely welcome at our wedding! However, there are a few things for you to consider when deciding to bring your children: - Child Care will not be provided during the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception, so you will be responsible for watching your children closely at all times. Swiftwater Cellars is a winery that actively produces wine, and there will be equipment and machinery on the premises for doing so, so please be aware of this. -There will be an open bar and loud music during the reception. If you have young children we suggest bringing hearing protection for them just in case it's too loud for them. Obviously, children under the age of 21 are not permitted any alcohol at any time. - The ceremony and reception is a one hour and thirty minute drive from Seattle under favorable traffic conditions. - The reception will go until 11:00 PM
Please be sure to RSVP by August 1st, 2024.
The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM, so please arrive a little early and give yourself time to settle in. We would recommend arriving between 3:30-3:45 PM.
Yes, there is ample parking along the side of the venue.
We do not have a hotel block set, so there will not be pre-arranged transportation to and from the venue.
We have a registry listed on our Zola website. Our featured registry gift is our Honeymoon fund! We will have a “Honeymoon Fund” box set up at our wedding for those who would like to contribute without using Venmo. Amazon gift cards are also appreciated!
Looks like it’s going to be HOT! Please feel free to bring a parasol if you have one, but be considerate of the other guests around you and tuck it away during the actual ceremony. The ceremony is planned for outdoors, but the reception will be held down in the wine cellar where it’s nice and cool!
We are having an unplugged wedding, meaning we ask all guests to kindly silence and put away all phones and cameras during the ceremony. Thank you!
