It all started in April of 2017, Alex was a senior and Laura was a sophomore at the University of Dayton. They were both invited to the same party and just happened to end up standing next to each other playing a game. They got to talking, exchanged numbers and decided to hangout the next day. Alex found out about a week after they met that he got a job in Dayton, and he would be moving downtown. This made it easy for them to stay in touch throughout the summer and their relationship continued to grow. They quickly realized how much they had in common, so a year later they officially started dating and it has been a fairytale ever since.

They went to Kings Island WinterFest with Laura’s family. They enjoyed the good food, snow, ice skating and rides. As they were walking Laura suggested to take a photo infront of a WinterFest sign, Alex knew this was the perfect opportunity. They took some photos and then decided to take a second round to get better quality. That is when Alex got down on one knee and said “Will you marry me?” Laura quickly responded with “Oh my gosh, Yes!”
