Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there is a welcome reception on Thursday, June 1 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Hyatt Place, Dewey Beach. Please download the ParkMobile app to park at the hotel.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please look under the Travel section on our website. We have room blocks with special rates, at four local hotels. We will also provide bus transportation to and from these hotels to the wedding venue.

We would appreciate your RSVP by Saturday, April 15, 2023.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available at the Baywood Golf and Country Club venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:00 pm. Please plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony.

What is the plan in case there is inclement weather?

Answer

The Thursday welcome reception has an indoor option. The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors at the Baywood Golf and Country Club. Our venue has adequate covered outdoor space for the wedding ceremony in the case of inclement weather. The cocktail hour will be moved indoors at the same location as the wedding reception.

We want to visit Rehoboth Beach, where do we park?

Answer

You will love Rehoboth Beach! There is metered parking on Rehoboth Avenue. Meter rates are $3/hour citywide. Meters are payable using quarters, credit card or via the ParkMobile app.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at the Thursday, June 1st welcome reception at the Hyatt Place, Dewey Beach. They are also welcome at the wedding ceremony on Friday, June 2nd at 5:00 - 5:30 pm. The cocktail hour and wedding reception are adults only. If you bring children to the wedding ceremony you will need to make transportation arrangements for their departure after the wedding ceremony at 5:30 pm.

May I bring a date?

Our Wedding is RSVP only. We will be able to accommodate only those listed on your invitation.

May I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones be put away and on silent during the ceremony. Please take as many photos/videos as you like before and after the ceremony. We will provide information at the reception for sharing photos and videos.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The welcome reception on Thursday, June 1st is beach casual - shorts, sundresses, sandals, etc. The wedding ceremony and reception is cocktail attire.

Do I need to bring an ID?

Answer

Yes, IDs are required for alcoholic beverages at the Baywood Golf and Country Club.
