If you know Michelle, you know she LOVES to sing! And, on a warm, July evening, Michelle was singing for a local church youth camp where Josh was leading some high school students. During worship, while Josh was captivated by the music, he was also taken back by Michelle's "patriotism" and talent. When small group time came around, one of the discussion questions was "what was the best part of the night?" When a student asked Josh what the best part for him was, he replied "the beautiful singer on stage". That night, with the help of friends, Josh would eventually learn Michelle's name, understand that she was single (and ready to mingle) and find out that she would be singing at that church the coming Sunday. When Sunday came around, wearing his best polo and extra gel in his hair, Josh waltzed into church anxiously waited to meet Michelle in the lobby after service. Unbeknownst to him, she had been informed that he left the church already. Then there she was.... b-lining it out the lobby to her car and then driving away. Josh began to panic and his last resort was to do the dreaded Instagram "DM slide". He sent her a message (to which Michelle deleted-by accident! Fortunately, she found him back right away) and she agreed to meet him for a drink at a cute cocktail lounge called Room for Milly in Denver. She came in late, rushing past the Covid check-point, sat down and said, "Hi, so Josh, tell me about yourself." With charming good looks and a great sense of humor, Michelle became captivated and curious to learn more about Josh. After two hours, she let him know that she had to run put more quarters in the machine and Josh knew he had a chance! A little over a year later, Josh made another reservation at Room for Milly where they had another drink and reminisced about how they met before walking to the park across the street where Josh proposed and asked Michelle to share the rest of her life with him. Through many tears of joy, Michelle said 'YES!'
