We decided on forever

In April 2017, Khaled and Kirstin traveled to Stanford for their grad school admit weekend. Khaled first caught Kirstin's eye during the student panel - all the nerds were asking questions about classes and exams when Khaled changed the vibe and asked "How's the nightlife around here?" K & K chatted after and quickly became friends. In Sept 2017, grad school officially started and K & K's friendship grew as they tackled classes, research, and grad student parties together. They soon realized there was more there than just a friendship and began dating in February 2018, and the rest is history. Little did Kirstin know when she joined Stanford that she would also get her Mrs. degree!
