Popular Nauset Beach, not to be confused with Nauset Light Beach of the National Seashore, is a lengthy 10-mile expanse starting in Orleans stretching all the way to Chatham. (Sea side, very large, pay to park required)
Provincetown is at the northern tip of Cape Cod. Great shopping area with plenty of places to get lunch walking up and down the sea side .
The Flee Market is run out of the old Drive in and is a great place to walk around and find something great!
This has two options. #1 You could go up Fort Hill Road and get to a free parking lot to look out at Fort Hill or sit in your car eating Sir Cricket's Fish & Chips looking out at the ocean (Parking dependent). #2 You could walk the Fort Hill Trail. (see website above for more details)
The Cape Escape Golf course is a great place right off the rotary to play a game of golf and has a large Koi pond if you would like to feed the fish. There is also a Trade winds across the street to go shopping or pick up some fudge/candy.

Whale watching or boat tours are a great way to enhance your awareness of whales or other marine life and the marine habitat that surround Cape Cod. You may be able to spot some dolphines, seals, or whales from the beach but going out on a boat with a guide will almost guarantee it. The location listed in this recommendation is for Province town but if you visit the link you can find out more about some other options in addition to the Province town Whale watch.
Walking the flats has been a tradition for Jake's entire family since they started vacationing at the Cape. The Brewster Flats are unique because they are the widest expanse of tidal flats in North America, rivaled in the western hemisphere only by a similar expanse in Brazil. (LOW TIDE REQUIRED) There are several Beaches along Brewster that allow you to walk the flats but the Point of Rocks Landing is where Jake's family always walks from.
Rock harbor has a small beach area and a Harbor. It is nice to come by and look at the boats coming in or out. There is also a small shack fish market called Youngs that has some of the best lobster rolls on the cape, you can also pick up fresh shellfish.
