Niagara Falls
One of the most beautiful attractions in the USA. It's hard to visit Buffalo without making a trip here. Our personal favorite thing to do around Niagara Falls is hike the Devil's Hole Trail that runs along the Niagara River. It is a bit more quiet but beautiful.
Buffalo AKG Art Museum
After expanding in 2023, the AKG art museum is now open again! The Buffalo AKG Art Museum (formerly the Albright-Knox Art Gallery) is one of the oldest museums dedicated to the art of our time, and the sixth oldest public art institution in the United States. This is the beautiful building in our engagement photos!
Delaware Park
Within 0.5 miles of our apartment, Delaware Park is one of our favorite places to walk. It is the park in the background of our engagement photos. The park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted over 150 years ago who designed parks in nearly every major city in the country. However, his work in Buffalo – the first park and parkway system designed and built in the U.S. – is considered his very best.
Elmwood Village
Our favorite place to shop and eat in Buffalo. Elmwood Village is home to plenty of cute shops and restaurants. A few of our favorite restaurants include Breezy Burrito, Inizio, and India Gate. Elmwood Ave is also home to our favorite dive bar, Mr. Goodbar.
Cafe 59
This cafe is where we went for lunch on our first date after first going thrift shopping at Amvets. Cafe 59 also has a beautiful view of the medical school.
Jacobs School Of Medicine And Biomedical Sciences
Where we first met and have spent countless hours over the past 4 years!
Canalside
A great place to go for a walk and to see Lake Erie! Plenty to do in this area, wonderful scenery, restaurants, the old naval park, and roller skating.
