We are getting married!!

Within their first year of dating, Kirsten and Brent knew they had found something special with one another. Brent even gave Kirsten a promise ring to demonstrate his commitment to her. In 2022, Brent started devising his plan to upgrade her promise ring to an engagement ring.   Months before the proposal, Brent decided he wanted to propose at Kirsten’s holiday party; the event was perfect­–they would be dressed up, several of their closest friends would be there, and they’d be at a beautiful venue…plus Kirsten wouldn’t suspect anything. He coordinated with Ashley, Kirsten’s friend, to organize the proposal.   Soon after arriving to the party, Kirsten and Brent met up with her friends, who suggested they take some photos. They took turns with group shots and solo shots before it was Kirsten and Brent’s turn.   The couple took several pictures together – and then, Brent dropped to one knee. Kirsten was stunned and so excited that she dropped down with him and exclaimed “yes!” before Brent could even begin his proposal speech. Instead of the long speech he originally planned for, Brent said, “Are you going to keep screaming or give me your hand?” After he placed the ring on her finger, they spent the rest of the evening celebrating with their friends.
