The northeast Georgia mountains are a popular retreat for travelers year-round. So, there are many adorable cabins and houses for rent on rental websites like Airbnb. If you want to soak-up some local charm, book a reservation for a cabin in the woods (just be sure to rent a four-wheel drive - we don't want you missing the event because of snow).

The good news, our event venue is a gorgeous property located in the northeast Georgia mountains! The bad news, the closest airport is about 90 miles away in Atlanta. But more good news, it's one of the largest airports in the world ... so, you should have no problem finding a flight that fits your busy schedule and budget!

The venue is located about 90-miles from the airport. We recommend that guests rent a car from the airport. Relying on ride-share services (e.g., Uber and Lyft) is not recommended.

We have been asked by several out-of-town guests if there are any opportunities to carpool and/or share a rental car. Since coordinating everyone's travel specifics would be a huge undertaking, we decided to offer this Google Doc as an alternative. Click the link below to add your name, flight details (arrival time, airline, etc.), preference (share shuttle, share rental car, etc.), and contact information. If you see someone on the list requesting/wanting the same thing, reach out, connect, and coordinate. Don't be shy - even if you don't know the person - you will get to know them soon enough at the wedding! Additionally, please see the information card for an airport shuttle service (see details to the right or below) from the airport to Cleveland/Helen. This is operated by an old friend of Josh from Cleveland.

(Unofficial) Shuttle Service from ATL Airport to Cleveland/Helen

If you are utilizing the Carpool Google Doc (see details to the left or above) to find others with whom to share a shuttle or rental car from the ATL airport to Cleveland or Helen, here are the details for a shuttle service. Please note, it will be near impossible to get a ride-share driver (Uber or Lyft) to accept your request to travel from the airport to Cleveland/Helen (it is over 75-miles). So, we have arranged for an old friend of Josh who owns a shuttle business to be available if needed. If you find some old (or new!) friends on the Carpool Google Doc that want to share a shuttle ride with you, please connect directly with the shuttle driver to coordinate your rides (don't forget a return trip to the airport!).
