August 5th 2022. A Morgan Wallen concert we will never forget. I had plans to go to the Morgan Wallen concert with some friends and our friend Nate, who I worked with at the time, had an extra ticket. A few weeks before the concert he said oh my friend Tyler is coming in town from Houston taking my extra.. he's cool, he's like 6'3, 6'4 and it left it at that. Yall know me I heard tall and of course my radar was up. Nate being the sly guy he is didn't say anything to either of us but come to find out he was scheming, thinking "this could work". We got to the tailgate spot and I immediately noticed Tyler as he got out of the truck in his Texas flag shirt and cowboy boots. Of course sly guy Nate got us be partners in beer pong and we instantly hit off chatting away getting to know each other. We spent the whole concert dancing together and having the BEST night.. until it was time to go and Tyler forgot to ask for my number. Yall know me.. I was pissed we had such a good night, what was his deal?! Then that Sunday, I got a message from him on Instagram apologizing and asking for my number and I was skeptical, but I gave it. I left for a work trip that Monday and had a long car ride and he called me and we talked for 3 hours about.. everything. I made it to my hotel and as we were hanging up he said "I know this sounds crazy but do you want to come to Houston this weekend?" I wanted nothing more, this felt different. I booked a flight and headed out on a Thursday night, both of us nervous, what if we hate each other lol. I saw him standing at baggage claim and a feeling just took over me, we got his house and he had beautiful yellow roses waiting and whole weekend of surprises and fun planned. I knew that weekend Tyler was going to be my husband. All I can say is when you know, you know.
