We're getting married!

We met on Facebook dating two years ago and it was love at first sight on our first date at Old Chicago in Lawrence, KS.

As many of you know, we are Sporting Kansas City fans. Sporting KC played in Austin Texas. Bryan was a season ticket holder for the KC soccer team. While being a season ticket holder, he got two free tickets to any away one away game. He decided to plan this trip for "Mackenzie's birthday." Little did Mackenzie know, Bryan had this entire trip planned out. On July 15th, 2023 Bryan told Mackenzie to get up at 6:30 am that they had a large hill to climb. So they got up and Mackenzie was suppose to dress up but did not want too due to the weather being very hot so she got up and wore a Buccees tank top and athletic shorts. After walking up Mount Bonnell in Austin, TX they were both staring out and looking at Gods beautiful creation. They walk aways in a little area on the dirt road and Mackenzie is talking about how pretty the top of this hill was. Then she turned around and with tears filling her eyes she sees Bryan on his knee and tears filling up his eyes as well. He asked her to marry him. She was a sobbing mess but then said yes, of course!
