Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kimberly M. Froehlich and Anthony C. Tiberi II
Welcome to Chicago! The city of big shoulders, birthplace of the baby back ribs, and home of the Chicago Cubs. Our home! We all know the traditional things to do while in Chicago: museums, John Hancock Building, Sears Tower, Navy Pier, Cubs game, Portillo's, etc. But the list below is some of our favorite things to do/places to go that aren't so conventional. Hope this helps!

Lakefront Trail - Ohio Street Beach

600 North Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60611

There are a few entrances onto the lakefront trail. The link shared below provides a map for each one. If you like to bike, you can rent a Divvy bike for rather cheap! Just download the Divvy app and you will find Divvy bike racks nearby.

Chicago Riverwalk

Chicago Riverwalk, Chicago, IL

The Riverwalk offers plenty of food and beverage spots, while enjoying the activity on the river. You can also access several architecture tours from the river or rent your own personal boat.

Zanies Comedy Night Club

1548 North Wells Street, Chicago, IL 60610

Who doesn't love a good old comedy club? Another comedy club to check for shows is Laugh Factory: https://www.laughfactory.com/chicago.

Billy Goat Tavern (The Original)

Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611

Cheezborger. Cheezborger. Cheezborger. A burger staple in Chicago! If you watch Saturday Night Live- you probably know of this place (video here: https://tinyurl.com/cheezborger). There is a newer location on Navy Pier if that is more convenient for you.

LH Rooftop

85 East Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601

We love a good rooftop bar. One of our favorites is LondonHouse, but the link on the below 'View' button lists out several others.
