Maid of Honor
If you've met the bride, you know how she feels about this Frenchie. She's more than a dog and Kimmy can't imagine this day without her there. She is her best friend, her equal, and the thing the whole family revolves around. She may or may not walk down the aisle willingly, because she does everything on exactly her own terms and it's the thing we love the most about her.
Best Man
"What is the essence of a man? Is it what he can provide for his fellow man? Is it the tools he owns? Is it the hair he styles? Either way, by your definition or mine, I'm placed above Gregg, and that's all that matters"
Maid of Honor
Shannon is Kimmy's older sister and the co-maid of honor. She lives in Colorado with her husband Joey and their dog, Eleven. Shannon loves trail running, hiking, and reading and aspires to be a published author one day. Her favorite memories of her sister include staying up late to read and then discuss the newest Harry Potter books, having Christmas Eve sleepovers as kids, and spending hours playing in the pool.
Best Man
It's about time.
Bridesmaid
I like Turtles.
Groomsman
Interests include basketball, music, and collecting cards...likes a day that has no homework, playing video games...would like to be a basketball star.
Mother of the Bride
Joan Haines is the mother of the bride and lives in Easton with her special partner of 16 years, Eugene Connolly. Joan is a Licensed Practical Nurse and works full times as a Residential Living Wellness Coordinator at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth, PA. When not at work, she enjoys caring for and taking the Maid of Honor Maggie for walks. Joan also enjoys traveling with Eugene and visiting with family, friends, but most importantly, her daughters. Memories of Kimmy will always be her running around the house on all fours like a dog, or cheetah and refusals to wear a dress! She also cherishes the times now when she can be together with both her daughters at the same time. She is honored to officially welcome Gregg into the family and call him her son.
Groomsman
"Vito DelCore, friends with Gregg for 20+ years after meeting on the high school bus. I joined the active duty Air Force in 2010 and then moved to Colorado Springs, CO (that's near Monument) in 2014, where I became a police officer and transitioned in the Air Force reserve. I married my beautiful wife Corrine who I met in the Air Force and we will have a newborn baby boy this April. Gregg and I have never lost touch and we talk weekly, if not daily. Most of the time it's Gregg telling me the same thing he told me the last three days in a row. We have been there for each other through the good and the bad and I can't wait to stand next to him and his soon to be beautiful wife, Kimmy, as they start the next chapter of their lives.
Father of the Bride
Kimmy's dad. Lives in Easton, PA with his dog Magdalene (Maggie). Old conservative white man, hates everyone and everything. The end.
Mother of the Groom
"I am the very proud mother of the groom. I have been in the shipping industry and now the jewelry industry for 40 years. When I am not busy working, I am home with my faithful companions, Gunner and my latest addition Willow. As I said I am extremely proud of my son, Gregg and of the good head he has on his shoulders, which I can only attribute to his Dad. I am very excited to welcome Kimmy into our family and I could not ask for a better daughter-in-law!
Stepfather of the Bride
Eugene Connolly is like a step-father to Kimmy after meeting her mother over 16 years ago. Many people refer to him as "Mr.C." He is retired from the newspaper union where he worked as a tractor trailer driver, traveling over 5 million miles. During his retirement he enjoys spending as much time as possible at his condo in Naples golfing and spending time at the beach. He looks forward to the weekends when Kimmy and Gregg visit and considers Gregg like a son (they spend too much time on the phone together!).
