“We’re Celebrating Our Marriage”

Terrence and Kay met at The Trussville YMCA. Kay was coaching her son’s basketball team and Terrence’s son (Simon) was on the opposing team. The entire evening Terrence was gazing at Kay from across the court, not even ashamed enough to look away when Kay would catch him looking. After Kay’s team took the W in overtime (lol), Kay and AJ (Kay’s son) were walking to the car when Kay spotted the guy that was gazing so hard was ironically parked close to her and was yet again looking. Kay was on the phone with her sister Ashlea (who was also at the game, but parked in a different location) and told her this guy is parked right by her and that her and AJ were going to walk fast so he would stop staring. Terrence called out “Excuse me Ma’am” about 2 times before Kay realized he was sounding so harmless that she stopped and spoke. Terrence’s next pickup line was “good game.” Followed by that stare again, chuckling to herself Kay could tell he had zero experience trying to pickup a lady. She walked over and asked him was he gonna say anything else and he shamefully asked for her number. The two have been best friends and inseparable since.
