Kimberly is friends with Amanda. Amanda is married to a San Francisco cop named Kevin. Kimberly asked Kevin if he had any attractive cop friends that he could set her up with. Kevin knew he had just the guy...his partner at work. He asked his partner, Thomas if he'd be interested in going out on a double date. Thomas had been out of the dating game for a little while and figured he'd give it a shot. Thomas was not on social media, so Kimberly could not do any "research" on Thomas prior to meeting. The pair finally went on a double date on December 18, 2017 in San Francisco, California. Kevin and Amanda joined Kimberly and Thomas for their date to ease any jitters. Kimberly, Amanda, and Kevin were very early and decided to go to Macy's. Kimberly and Amanda were looking at the Christmas decorations on the 6th floor. Kevin told Thomas just to meet at their current location. Kimberly saw this handsome man come up the elevator. She could not stop staring. The man approached Kevin and shook his hand. Thomas proceeded to introduce himself to Kimberly. Thomas says that Kimberly had a look of "disgust" on her face. Kimberly, on the other hand, states it was a look of disbelief. She could not believe this was the man she was set up with. Thomas was a cookie cutter picture of what Kimberly had always wanted. The two couples went to dinner. Thomas barely talked to Kimberly because he was nervous. Kimberly ordered the meatloaf on a first date. After dinner, they adventured around the city and were followed around by SFPD. After all, this date was the talk of the town for weeks! As the date came to an end, Thomas asked Kimberly to go on a second date and the rest is history! P.S. As of right now, there will not be any meatloaf served at this wedding.

Kimberly and Thomas quickly fell in love and became best friends. Kimberly and Thomas have loved traveling together. They have gone on so many fun trips. They went on a spontaneous trip to Chicago for St. Patrick's Day, they have seen the Yankees and Red Sox play in Yankee Stadium, they have had authentic Texas BBQ in Austin, Texas, and they have surfed and snorkeled in Maui just to name a few. Kimberly and Thomas have spent a lot of time in Lake Tahoe where they love to relax and eat Base Camp Pizza and play Wheel of Fortune at the casinos. Each summer of their relationship has been spent in Lake Almanor, where they love to kayak, fish, spend time with friends and family, and drink a lot of Jack Daniel's Tenessee Honey and Lemonade ( Kimberly’s drink) and Jack and coke ( Thomas’ drink). If Thomas and Kimberly aren't working or traveling, they usually have some fun times up their sleeve whether it's going to WWE Wrestling, seeing a Notre Dame football game at Stanford, going to country concerts, dollar days at the horse races, etc. You name it, Kimberly and Thomas are probably there! They also love to watch reality TV, cooking together, hiking, and they are always in search of the best fried chicken sandwich! So far Chick-Fil-A has their heart! And sometimes you may even find them conducting pizza reviews! Kimberly and Thomas acknowledge how lucky they are to have one another and appreciate any time off they have together. They cannot wait for all of the laughs, memories, and fun times their marriage will bring!

Kimberly and Thomas packed up Thomas' truck to drive down to Lake Almanor, California, on July 10, 2020. Thomas likes his truck packed a certain way. Kimberly does not always agree with Thomas' system. The day was hot, the drive was long, and they received a call along the way that their cabin would not be ready at the time they had planned for. To make matters, worse Kimberly was hungry. After Thomas got Kimberly some food, their cabin was ready. Kimberly immediately went inside and started sanitizing every inch of the house and spraying every disintectant you could think of into the air. After all, they were in the midst of the pandemic. This was not apart of Thomas' plan. Thomas finally convinced Kimberly to take a break and relax. Kimberly headed to the lake dock. Again, this was not part of Thomas' plan...Kimberly sat on the dock with Thomas and Thomas started saying all these sweet things. He finally asked Kimberly if they could sit in the shade. In reality, he just didn't want to propose on the dock where he could drop the ring in the water! Thomas continued saying sweet things. Kimberly was used to Thomas being sentimental so she did not see a proposal coming. Finally, Thomas stood up and then got down on one knee. Kimberly immediately started crying and said yes! She also kept saying "thank you". After they hugged and kissed for awhile, Thomas asked if they could go inside. Once in the cabin, their close friends Cameron and Gabby popped out of nowhere with champagne and roses! It truly was a day they all will never forget!
