Glazer and Kimberly met her freshman year at the Illustrious Tuskegee University in 2011. Glazer had a work study job in her dorm, they spoke on occasion but Kimberly typically stayed to herself and on her free time she would fly home to Los Angeles. Fast forward to 2018, the NBA All-Star game was being held in Los Angeles where Kimberly lived. Glazer reached out to Kim and asked about some fun outings he and his friends could partake in while in town and if she had some free time to show them the city and hang out. No, she didn't get to show him around Los Angeles on that trip but somehow a month or so later Glazer invited Kimberly to Montgomery for the weekend. They went on their first date and the rest was history..... now he's walking her down the aisle to complete their love story.

Now the proposal was one for the books. Glazer always has adventurous birthdays, typically he and Kimberly are traveling somewhere fun. However this 30th birthday they decided to incorporate most of their loved ones. They started planning this birthday probably a year in advance, throughout the whole planning process Kimberly had no idea he was planning an engagement the whole time. Sneaky sneaky man..... Anywho Barry reached out to a plethora of Kimberly's family and friends from Los Angeles, New Orleans and Louisville and asked if they'd come celebrate with them. Kimberly kept reiterating to Barry that this is his special birthday not hers plus they were supposed to have a guest limit that he needed to abide by. She still had no idea.... During his birthday speech he started thanking everyone for coming and enjoying the festivities. He then started thanking Kimberly for all that she has done, at that moment she still had no idea not even the slightest thought that 15 minutes into his speech that he would be asking her to be his wife and partner for life. She was in shock, all she could do was cry tears of happiness. Now here they are excited to celebrate the next chapters of life together with God as the head of their household.
