Meet our wedding party!

Beverly Cadorette

Mother of the Groom

Beverly is Lyle's mom, and lives in Arlington Massachusetts. She is a special education teacher for middle school kids and likes traveling, walking and occasionally enjoys a craft beer. She was a professional environmentalist for 20 years, passing her love of the outdoors to Lyle. During her mid-career shift to teaching, she received a degree in education from Lesley University

Ralph Cadorette

Father of the Groom

Ralph lives in Arlington, Massachusetts and worked as an Architect for 40 years, ending his career as a Principal in an Architectural Firm in Boston. He and his young family moved to England in 2002, where he helped to startup a branch office in London. He is now retired and enjoys playing the Mandolin and fly fishing.

Phil Childs

Father of the Bride

Phil lives in Hendersonville, North Carolina in the house that Kim grew up in on property that used to be part of the Childs' Family Farm. He is Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway and spent many years running several successful restaurants, with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He is a great cook and passed on the gene for loving spicy food to Kim, along with the value of hard work and sarcasm.

Karen Childs

Step-Mother of the Bride

Karen married Phil in 2021, making Phil the co-owner of the small dog (Woody the Daschund) he claimed to never want. She is great at decorating, an accomplished pianist and always knows where to find a deal. Karen is a VP Wealth Advisor at Synovus Bank in Greenville, South Carolina. Karen has two sons, Colby, who passed in 2020, and Tyler, who loves to DJ and provide professional sound services, daughter-in-law, Allie, a make-up artist, and 3 fabulous granddaughters, Rylee, Zoe and Ella.

Casey Childs

Maid of Honor

Casey is Kim's older sister and lives in Charleston, South Carolina. She works as a Massage Therapist at Lotus Healing Center and an Anatomy and Physiology Instructor. She also makes Jewelry and owns her own Jewelry business, Brightwater Native. Casey went from being obsessed with boy bands as a kid to preferring things like science and true crime, but we will never forget her signing up for all the free magazines that got sent to our house changing her last name to Carter (Aaron) or Timberlake (Justin).

Courtney Norris

Matron of Honor

Kim met Courtney in the 5th grade and they have been friends ever since. They've shared many a concert and several consecutive Warped Tours. Courtney is a big Carolina Panthers fan and lives in Durham, N.C. with her husband Ben and 2 adorable children, Cecilia and Ezra. She has an MSC in Clinical Research and Development from UNCW and is a Project Manager at PPD in peri-and post-approval Research Operations specializing in pregnancy and lactation registries.

Claire Cadorette

Best Woman

Claire is Lyle's younger sister who recently began her masters in Glass art at Alfred University in Upstate New York. She has a cat, Hazel and rabbit named Almond. She is a glassblower by trade, which she learned while attending the Rhode Island School of Design. She likes camping, art, island management (Animal Crossing) and feeding stray cats.

Gregory Pisano

Best Man

Greg and Lyle met in the first or second grade, and would hang out every Friday night from seventh grade through the end of high school. They played video games, ultimate frisbee, tabletop wargames and roleplaying games together. Greg lives in Arlington has a degree in Sustainable Agriculture and works as a Calibration Technician. He still enjoys building computers, miniature paining and video games.

In memoriam: Terri Childs

Mother of the Bride

Terri, a devoted mother, home-cleaning business owner, and a huge Beatles fan had a penchant for art, coffee and chocolate. She loved to doodle on whatever paper she could find and was a hairdresser and photographer in the past, even taking pictures for bands such as The Allman Brothers in her hometown of Macon, Georgia. Those that have met Terri will tell you that she was one of the nicest people they ever met and she worked hard to teach her daughters empathy and kindness. “While my mother will not be able to be with us physically and will be greatly missed, we know she will be with us in spirit. Lyle and my mom got the opportunity to get to know each other and she had nothing but good things to say about him so I know she'd be thrilled.” -Kim
