What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 3:00 pm on Saturday July 11 2020. Please arrive by 2:30 pm to ensure plenty of time to find seating at the ceremony.

Are kids invited?
Answer
Although we absolutely adore your children, due to limited seating capacity we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. We hope you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and party with us!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If your RSVP says "and Guest" then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you due to limited capacity at the venue.

Can we stay at Gowlland Harbour resort for the weekend?
Answer
The resort is very small and only holds enough space for our immediately family and wedding party. If you have not been contacted about staying at the resort already please find alternate accommodation on the island. Suggestions can be found under the Travel & Accommodation tab!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Quadra has quite a variety of accommodation including hotels, resorts and camping. In the travel section of this website we have linked a variety of options. Please book in advance to ensure you get accommodation because July on Quadra Island can be extremely busy!

What type of bar will there be?
Answer
We are planning on having a toonie bar for beer, wine and cider. All other drinks including highballs will be a cash bar.

What should I wear / dress code?
Answer
There is no dress code, but please know if you plan to wear heels the grounds of the resort can tend to be a bit uneven, some hills mixed with pavement, grass and gravel. We will be hoping for a beautiful summer day but around here you never know!

Will there be a shuttle?
Answer
Yes! The resort offers an included shuttle service that will take you to home to wherever you are staying on the island. It will also take you to the ferry! Please do not drink and drive.

What time is the last ferry of the evening off of Quadra?
Answer
The last ferry leaving Quadra on Saturday is 11:00 pm.
Question
What time should we be back at the venue for dinner if we leave after the ceremony?
Answer
Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm sharp so please be back by 5:30 pm. We will be serving appetizers and drinks after the ceremony though so please feel free to stay and enjoy the beautiful scenery if you would like!
