Kim and Kody met at Nookie's Two in Lincoln Park where they enjoyed crepes and coffee for their first date on February 23rd, 2019 (It was a lucky day, Kim's mom's birthday). Conversations led to many connections with focusing on careers, spending time with family, enjoying time with friends and trying many new restaurants!

It was a beautiful summer evening and Kody told Kim that he had planned a Friday date night! They went to a wonderful dinner at Mon Ami Gabi in Lincoln Park. They started walking around after dinner and stopped when they got to the bridge overlooking the Chicago skyline. Kody asked a family to take a picture of them. He then asked for a second picture and was down on one knee! Of course Kim said "YES!" They celebrated just the two of them with champagne at a restaurant nearby then shared the exciting news with family and friends.

After living in the city for 2 years, they were ready for a new chapter. Kody, Kim and Willow moved to the suburb of Wheeling, IL. Kim accepted a position as a Special Services Teacher in Hoffman Estates and Kody accepted a job for NoCoast Originals as a Horse Soldier Bourbon Coordinator. Willow is living her best life enjoying more space, many squirrels and long walks throughout their new neighborhood!
