Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

There is no parking at the venue. There is parking available at the train station right next store to the venue. The first 75 minutes are free, and after that it is $1.50 per hour. Overnight parking is permitted here. Parking can be limited on the weekends. There are other public lots around the venue as well. We encourage guests to take Uber or Lyft to avoid challenges with parking.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Although we absolutley love all your kiddos we have a limited guest count at this venue and kindly request adults only with the exception of family.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

No. There is such a wide variety of lodging in Santa Barbara and the surrounding areas. We encourage you to find the best place in town that works for you! Vrbo and Airbnb have nice options as well. We provided some suggestions on the Travel page. Please reach out to Lauren or Ryan if you need assistance.

When Should I Arrive At The Wedding Venue?

Answer

Please arrive at 5pm. The wedding will begin promptly at 5:15 PM. The ceremony and reception will both take place at the Moxi.

What is the weather typically like?

Answer

Expect warm and sunny weather. Daytime highs could be in the mid 70s to mid 80s, cooling off into comfortable evenings. It may be warm during the ceremony, but a light jacket is a good idea at night.

Is smoking or vaping allowed at the venue?

Answer

The museum has a very strict policy against smoking and vaping. Smoking AND vaping are strictly prohibited on the museum and rooftop. If guests are smoking or vaping, there will be a fine and the wedding may be shut down. Guests are also not permitted to leave the premises unless they are leaving the wedding.
