It all started when we both attended Alexander Sinton High School. We had absolutely no interest in each other until we had a mutual friend in grade 11, which resulted in us hanging out together during break. So after almost 4 years of attending the same school this was when the sparks began and as cliché as it might sound we became best friends. One could say it's thanks to that friend that we now find ourselves in this beautiful relationship but we strongly believe its the work of the Lord that curated our love story. ​ We eventually found ourselves in a relationship without either of us asking the other to actually be in a relationship & here we are 7 years later making the biggest commitment to each other.

I always believed I wouldn't be surprised when Lyle proposed to me but he had a bullet proof plan once he was in cahoots with my work best friend. They made me believe we were going to the Galileo for work but little did I know it was proposal day. Lyle & I got ready to watch the movie in the boot of my car when all of a sudden my name appeared on the screen & Lyle went down on one knee. After asking him if he asked my dad & for him to get back down on his knee I said YES lol & we were finally engaged.
