My favorite movie since I was a kid is Hocus Pocus, so I’ve always been drawn to visit Salem, Ma. I finally said “screw it, lets go”, and we booked the trip for the weekend before Halloween (my favorite holiday). I had a feeling leading up to that weekend that he was going to propose because he started acting strange. I kept telling my friends, “I have a feeling hes going to do it, I just know it, so if you guys are lying to me, you’re really good at it”… (they were). He told me that on friday, we have to go to Allison’s mansion because “thats what we both planned together”.. (no we did not). For those that have never seen the movie, Allison lives in this beautiful, old, white colonial mansion. So on friday, we wandered around the city but the vibes were off all day leading up to it since we both knew~ what was happening. We get to the mansion and I see a girl with a camera walk into the gardens behind the building, we make quick eye contact, and immediately my spidey senses started tingling. He brings me into the garden, and probably says amazing things to me- we both blacked out, so dont ask me if I even said yes, because we have no clue. It was the perfect weekend to do it, at the perfect location, with the perfect ring, and I would do it all over again and not change a thing.
