*Kiernan's POV*- I was playing in a volleyball tournament when Russell showed up with one of his friends to watch the game. I saw him sitting in the stands during warm ups and I told a girl on my team that I thought he was cute. I told her to SWEAR not to tell anyone and she didn't...until the football game that Friday night where she told the absolute worst person possible (or so I thought at the time), Russell himself. After she told me that she had told Russell, I was ready to leave the football game until she stopped me and asked if I wanted to know what Russell's response was. Apparently Russell said he thought I was cute too which was huge sigh of relief for 8th grade Kiernan because I was sure I was about to be completely embarrassed. At the end of the football game Russell came up to me and told me I should text him sometime, then he walked away without giving me his number. Classic Russell move. Luckily I was able to get his number and we started texting and talking at school. On September 29th, 2010 Russell asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes. The rest is history. *Russell's POV* - I had never formally met Kiernan, or even talked to her, until a mutual friend at a football game ran into me and told me that she thought I was cute. That thought stuck with me for the rest of the game until I finally summed up enough courage to go talk to her. I was relatively shy when it came to talking to girls, but I had this uncanny feeling that it was the right thing to do. So I went and spit some game and told her to text me. I didn't give her my number because it was really a test to see if she was actually into me, then she'd have to hunt down my number. We had texted for a long time that night and everything just happened so easy with her. Im glad I had enough courage to talk to such an amazing girl that night.
