Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Dress to impress or Africa Attire. You chose what works best for you. March weather in NC tricky. Please dress accordingly. We will be outside however, we will do our best to keep you comfortable. Please dress for the weather.

What happens after the ceremony

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages. Hostesses will be able to guide you in the right direction

Does your wedding have a theme

Answer

Yes! we will be honoring the Ghanaian culture by participating in a traditional Ghanaian Engagement/Wedding Ceremony. African attire is appreciated but dress to impress is expected

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive

Answer

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the afternoon. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list and will be adhere to safety protocols. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Any additional guests will not be allowed entry. Please have in hand proof of negative COVID exam within 24 hrs of wedding date. ❤️

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! There will be appetizers and a sit down meal served.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be unplugged however you may post pictures and videos of the reception. We only ask that you tag us and our wedding hashtag #igotalovejones

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking at the location. Valet will be provided for all wedding guests

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

They will both be held at the same venue. Pullen Park. The ceremony will be held at The Lakefront Gazebo and lunch immediately following will be held at Shelter 4.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony/reception will be held outdoors Dinner and cake cutting will be held indoors

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Please contact ahead of rsvp date to inform of any dietary concerns
