Atalaya Castle is a beach-front historic castle that was built by Archer Huntington and his wife Anna between 1931 and 1933. This home is where Anna, an artist, developed her first few sculptures that she eventually moved to Brookgreen Gardens, our wedding venue. Atalaya is now located within Huntington Beach State Park and has since been named a national landmark by the National Register of Historic Places.
Walter's on the Waterway is located on the water in the Wacca Wache Marina. They have great food, drinks, and a beautiful outdoor patio right on the water. This is one of our favorite places and is also where Khalil had our surprise engagement party after he proposed.
The MarshWalk is a half-mile long boardwalk along the beautiful marsh in Murrells Inlet with various restaurants and beverage stations that you'll find along the way! Additionally, this is a great place to view the sunset over the marsh or if you're looking for live music at night.
Myrtle Beach State Park is a great place to visit if you're wanting to get outside! It has multiple hiking/walking trails, outdoor picnic tables, a pier, and bike rentals. It is accompanied by a campground along with beach access.
