Two parallel lives have finally merged and 
are now magically blending into one blessed union... 

We have been dreaming of and praying for each other all our lives, and 
we give full credit and thanks to God and our beloved deceased parents, 
Frank Firek and Rita Hanna.

FAMILY FACT (from Joleen): 
My dad, Frank, was a hobbyist magician and gave life to 
my favourite childhood bear, Sparky.  
Mystery, laugher and adventure ensued – 
things I still embrace as an adult living a full life infused with playfulness.

FAMILY FACT (from Khal): 
My mom, Rita, was amazing and gave me a strong appreciation for people, relationships, humor and cooking.  As a young man, I bought my mom a thoughtful ring with one of my very first paychecks.  
This is the same ring I presented on one knee to Joleen.
