Levi and Keyshawna's worlds collided in 2018 through The Joint Youth Fellowship. It was Levi's 4th year serving on the JYF board and ACOG decided to add another representative to represent their church, who in 7 years would become Levi's wife. The JYF board decided to have their first in person meeting at the Revolution Bowling Alley in West Palm Beach. Levi introduced himself and that day marked one of their funniest and most memorable interactions. They both continued to serve wholeheartedly on the JYF board, as they also continued to build their friendship. They would support each other in their individual endeavours: Keyshawna became a regular listener and guest on the Hold Ya Point Podcast and Levi became a regular viewer and commenter on Keyshawna's Youtube videos. Both were on their individual journeys of discovering their identities in Christ, building their lives, and serving in various ministries at their churches.

After six long years of friendship, Bible Bowl 2024 happened. Levi, now serving as the coach for Treasure Coast’s Junior Team, and Keyshawna, there to support her two sisters on the ACOG Junior and Senior Teams, crossed paths. While Keyshawna was in the lunchroom stuffing her face with pizza, Levi approached to say "hi." They caught up briefly, but this time, the conversation felt different—there was a new attraction between them. After Bible Bowl ended, Levi searched for Keyshawna, but she had already left and was on her way home, however the seed was planted in both of their hearts, and now only time and distance kept them apart.

In March 2024, only two months later, Keyshawna felt led to attend a worship event in Orlando hosted by Minister David Diga Hernandez. It was during that weekend that Levi learned that Keyshawna was in his city and asked her on their first date. Having prayed for a sign, God provided her with the reassurance that she needed right as she was about to enter onto the Turnpike to head back home. After taking a leap of faith, they both walked away from the date realizing how much they had in common, and almost instantly became inseparable. In April, Levi asked Keyshawna to officially be his girlfriend, and their journey began!
