Best Man
Colin and I met Day 1 at Union where he simply added me in his phone as the letter ‘W’. Apparently, me having a Bush/Cheney ‘04 sticker was enough to think that this was going to be a rather quick friendship. Luckily for me, we lived one wall apart and eventually he figured out who W was. We spent the next 4 years sharing all of college’s best moments and building amazing lifelong bonds. That carried over when we came to Boston to try our hand at the real world. We quickly set up roots and he helped make connections as we rode out those early days. Colin’s ability to make friends with just about anyone and find random adventures is something that no one can match. That energy and ability to connect with people is a major reason so many people are a part of my life.
Groomsman
I have known Steve since kindergarten. Some of my earliest memories are ones we shared from bee stings to backyard football, to just biking around The Pines with our matching Buffalo Bills Starter jackets. Steve was always the friend mom’s loved. He was a gentleman far beyond his years. He never seemed to be around when we got into trouble, but was always there to help when you needed it. Over the past few years, Lake George has brought us back together and our time spent at the camp, living the dream and laughing like we were kids.
Groomsman
I owe a lot to Nick. He hired me at a pivotal time in my life. He introduced me to a whole new world with Uber. I knew during the interview that we had found something. Even walking me out after the interview I thought we were just going to go sit down and get to work. Nick’s ability to be both friend and boss is a major reason why I found success and followed him to the North Shore. We’ve been through a lot together and I have grown a ton because of him.
Groomsman
I met Stevo in our orientation class at Hubspot. I recognized the accent and sure enough he was from the 518 and so started the early foundations of the Frat Castle. Eventually we both got fired, then moved in together with his future wife, got a dog, and grew close spending countless hours breaking controllers and eating Marge’s famous portions of pasta. Steve has been an amazing friend and has taught me a lot about life, negotiations, sports, and being Upstate which above all is the connection that brought many of us together.
