We met at work, it was Keeghan's first day and I was asked to speak to his sales class about the company's opportunities to work in other cities (e.g., San Francisco). Although not shared in that moment, we both had picked each other out that day. A couple months later, a handful of lunches in the atrium and late nights running around Boston, we decided to lock things down even though I was leaving for San Francisco. Then Keeghan got an offer to move to San Francisco and the rest is history.
We were in Sedona with family for an engagement weekend (shh, I wasn't supposed to know). We stayed at a beautiful spot in Oak Creek, with private access to the creek. Keeghan took me down to this large rock in the middle of the creek, it was just us - we sat and talked about our life together. We got up to head back to the house and he got down on a knee, spoke very special words about our love and asked the big question. Later on we found out that the rock where he proposed is where two vortexes meet and become one. It is known as one of the most sacred spots for locals in Sedona.
