Do I need a visa to travel to Bali?

Answer

Many nationalities qualify for a Visa on Arrival (VoA) for $35 USD, valid for 30 days. However, it can be purchased online BEFORE your arrival (advisable). Check if your nationality is eligible on the Indonesian immigration website.

What is the closest airport to the wedding venue?

Answer

Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) is the closest airport, it is typically a 30–90 minute drive to Villa Plenilunio.

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all, and we are so grateful that you’re traveling to celebrate with us in Bali! What time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the wedding ceremony begins. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know when you fill in the dietary restrictions when you RSVP. You can also contact Kevin and Vivien directly to let us know.

Which area of Bali is the Wedding? Where should I stay?

Answer

The wedding venue is in beautiful Uluwatu which is located in the Southernmost point of Bali. We recommend staying in Uluwatu, Ungasan, Pecatu or Jimbaran. Please note Bali is bigger than you think (it is 5x the size of Hong Kong)!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will arrange transportation to the ceremony for guests staying at Radisson Blu Resort, Bali Uluwatu and Swiss-Belresort Pecatu hotel for the wedding day (May 28th). We highly recommend choosing a hotel that offers concierge or car services, as transportation options can be limited late at night. Please keep us posted on where you will be staying so we can help organize your transportation as much as we can.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there are parking spots available at the venue if you all plan to rent a car or even scooter? How fun!

Can I bring a plus one or additional guests?

Answer

Our wedding is an intimate gathering with a carefully planned guest list, so we are not expecting additional guests unless invited. If you have a special request, please reach out to us, and we will do our best to accommodate if possible. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What currency is used in Bali?

Answer

The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) is the currency used locally. ATMs are widely available, and credit cards are accepted at most major venues.

What type of power outlets are used in Bali?

Answer

Bali uses Type C and Type F outlets with 220V. Recommend being a savvy traveler and bring a universal adapter!

Answer

-Whatsapp: Messaging platform. - Grab: The most popular ride-hailing app in Bali for booking cars, bikes, or food delivery. - Gojek: Similar to Grab, offers ride-hailing, food delivery, and more localized services. - Google Maps: Essential for navigating and exploring Bali’s attractions. - Rome2Rio: Helpful for planning transportation routes, especially for longer trips around the island. -Google Translate: Useful for translating from English to Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia). You can even use the camera feature to translate text on signs or menus.
