Let's have some fun, folks!

In August 2006 Libby walked into her English 201 class (late of course) at Manhattan College. Little did she know that Kevin, her future husband, was sitting in that class. The two started chatting over AIM Instant Messenger about assignments (remember those days?). Kevin would "forget" the homework assignment and reach out to ask. The two eventually started dating. However, like many young romances the two went their separate ways after college, Libby moving to Boston and Kevin to Brooklyn. While in Boston Libby reached out to Kevin, with no pretense or expectation that he would respond, to express how much their relationship had shaped her and what he had meant to her. No, she didn't hand write letter and spray it with her best perfume or send an email al la You've Got Mail. AIM had given way to Facebook Messenger at this point, so Facebook Messenger it was. It was so sweet Mark Zuckerberg probably quotes it for his wife every anniversary. Expecting no reply Libby continued her teaching career in Boston and Kevin continued his work as a Kitchen Manager at a Vegan restaurant in Manhattan. Fast forward a few years Libby moved to Hoboken, NJ and Kevin was planning a backpacking trip through Southeast Asia. One morning Libby woke up to a Facebook message (as one does) from Kevin. It had been two years since her first message, so to say this was a little out of left field would be an understatement. Upon opening the message however, Libby was stunned by the sweetness of the message and her emotional response. She text him a week later. Three days after the two had their third "first date" at Amanda's in Hoboken for dinner. During that dinner the two knew this was it for us. This was our person. Cue Etta James "At Last." Five years later on a bitterly cold night in Vermont with snow falling and the whiskey warm, Kevin proposed. Libby ugly cried and here we are. Our story has had many chapters. We cannot wait to open the next one with all of you!
