Kevin and Lesley met in high school over Myspace. Lesley had mutual friends with Kevin and started messaging him. It did not take long for Lesley to start crushing on Kevin. Little did she know, he liked her too! She went out on a limb and invited him to her Sweet Sixteen birthday party. They would talk daily over AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) everyday. Kevin would even help her with her calculus homework. They bonded over their love of "Grey's Anatomy" and silly "Would you rather" questions but both were too shy to cross the bridge from friendship to something more. They both went their separate ways for college and maintained a distant friendship with an occasional, "Hello" or "Happy Birthday" over the years.

It was not until many years later when Lesley was living in the Bay Area and Kevin in San Diego, that Kevin reconnected with Lesley. He recently purchased a home in Sacramento and was asking friends if they knew anybody interested in being a renter. As they chat with one another, it was as though no time had passed. At one point Kevin said, "I should have just asked you out in high school, but I was shy back then; a jolly, old chap." This prompted Kevin to make a deal with Lesley. If she was still single in August, she'd go on a date with him to see Coldplay in Los Angeles. However, they were so excited to spend time together that they could not wait two months for the concert. So, Kevin came to visit Lesley in the Bay Area, and they went zip-lining and wine tasting with friends. And the rest was history! They eventually both moved back to Sacramento and started their lives together. They added their precious pup, Riley to their family and have been enjoying life together ever since. They love to go on hikes, visit the beach, try out new restaurants, and spend quality time "just being together."
