08/26/24 UPDATE! Be our guest! The charter bus and BTR tickets are secured and we look forward to cruising north to the state fair together. The charter bus will depart North Beach at 4:15 p.m. Several free parking lot options are available on Bay Ave. (east of the Library, east of Plaza Mexico). The GREEN lines denote free street parking throughout North Beach (Dayton, Bay, 7th St, 8th St). There is a large $12 daily lot at Chesapeake & 5th. Given we depart on a Saturday afternoon plan to arrive early to find the best parking option for you. BYOB! The charter bus will be parked on the east side of the road across from Triton's Garage (the address in this event listing). We'll arrive at the fair around 6:30 with time to play carnival games and test out the latest egregious fried foods. *The fair recommends bringing a lawn chair if you need to sit during the show. Call or text us for any questions or changes to your plans!
When we're not BTRing, fossil hunting, or getting married, our local vineyard and Biergarten is a great place to catch a sunset.
Head to the southernmost point of Calvert County and experience Solomons Island. Check out river otters, maritime history and the paleontological history of Calvert Cliffs at the Marine Museum. Solomons Island has beautiful scenic views and boardwalk. Many great restaurants: CD Cafe, Le Vela, Charles Street Braseiree, Island Hideaway, and the (in)famous Tiki Bar!
