Please take this time to grab a drink at the hotel or on Mamaroneck Avenue, freshen up, or relax with other guests until the buses come to pick you up from the Cambria Hotel! We highly recommend you do not eat during this time, as there will be very large amounts of food to indulge yourselves in, starting the moment you arrive at Marina Del Rey! The wedding party is using this time to take pictures so that they can all enjoy Cocktail Hour with the guests.
Yes. Although there will not be any transport to and from the church, as it is walking distance from the hotel, we do have pre-arranged transportation to get guests from White Plains, to the Bronx for the reception and back. Whether you are staying in our hotel block or not, we recommend you arrive at the Cambria Hotel to catch the buses to Marina Del Rey! Buses will depart promptly at 5:45 PM.
We would like our guests to be dressed to impress given that 2020 was a year of quarantine. Formal evening attire is requested for the event. We recommend men wear a suit & tie, or a tuxedo and women are recommended to wear floor length dresses. Be comfortable enough to dance the night away!
In typical NY fashion, is it common for people to dress in more casual summer or cocktail attire in the church. You can use the long break afterward to freshen up and change into your fancy evening attire for the reception, if you wish to be more comfortable during the ceremony. Dress up or down, whatever you prefer!
All invited guests are welcome to hang with the Bride & Groom before the big day! We encourage all travelers, from near and far, to attend. You do not have to be staying in the hotel to come.
White Plains is known for its nightlife! There are plenty of bars and restaurants located just around the corner from the hotel. Take a stroll down Mamaroneck Ave and you can take your pick! Lillys is a great option for a good meal. For the night owls, places like Brazen Fox are open until 4 AM.
