Our love story began in a very romantic way...in the middle of a neighborhood, during Covid, with me clipping guinea pig toenails (that's a whole different story) and Kevin in an oversized Kobe jersey and basketball shorts. I had been single for a year and was tired of the dating app scene. Kevin had decided he didn't want to seriously date anyone until he was 30 and ready to settle down. Kevin's brother and sister-in-law happened to live across the street from one of my friends, and they thought we might be a good match. So one day I went over to my friend's house knowing that Kevin would be there babysitting his nephews. Kevin was absolutely clueless to what was going on. He saw the neighbor kids across the street playing outside and quickly took the nephews out to occupy them. And that's when we met. After an intense water fight with all the kids and Kevin urging his middle nephew to do a naked Slip 'n Slide, we parted ways. Clearly Kevin knew he was letting a great thing walk away, so he asked my friend for my number. We had our first date a week later in a park in the city. And the rest, as they say, is history.
It means the world to us to have so many amazing people in our lives and celebrating our marriage with us. We wouldn't be where we are today without each and every one of you. Our wedding day is not just about our marriage, it's also about celebrating with all of you. We are so excited to be surrounded by our closest friends and family and dance the night away with you all! Thank you for helping us celebrate the beginning of our forever!
