Katie and Kevin met in 2018 when Katie's college roommate's boyfriend introduced them. Come to find out, Katie and Kevin's family have known each other for years and they attended the same family parties but never knew the other existed. The night they met was at Katie's college house. Katie was flying back home from San Antonio from a volleyball tournament and Kevin was driving home from his army base in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Kevin was coming over to see his best friend John, who was dating Katie's roommate Karli. The two stayed up all night watching The Office, talking, and exchanging stories and laughs. Kevin always says, "I knew she was the girl for me when I saw her for the first time. She walked down the stairs in shorts, baggy tshirt, messy bun, and a glass of wine in her hand." Fast forward 4 years, Katie and Kevin own a house in Plainfield together with their two dogs, Charlie & Callie, and are excited for their next chapter of their lives.
