WHAT TO WEAR TO THE WEDDING?

Answer

Formal attire: Black tie optional, suits, long dresses, etc. all welcome for both men and women! White and similar colors are reserved for the bride.

TRANSPORTATION

Answer

If you are going to use Uber or Lyft to arrive at/depart the venue - we HIGHLY recommend scheduling your ride with their service in advance. Both companies offer pre-scheduling of rides up to a week in advance. Both are open to be scheduled NOW. The reception will end at 10 pm. The service is limited at Poplar Springs, and is in a rural area with limited drivers roaming nearby. Please think ahead!

WHAT IS A COOKIE TABLE AND WHAT CAN I BRING?

Answer

A cookie table is a Northeastern tradition where guests can contribute 1-2 dozen of their family-favorite cookies to the wedding festivities. If you would like to participate, bring your favorite homemade cookies (on a disposable platter, please!) and send us the recipe via email. Everyone will be able to take home a bag of cookies, and we'll send out the recipes to everyone after, so we can share in each other's sweet traditions! If you're participating, please bring the to Manor House from 3-4 pm on Friday, before the ceremony.

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE CEREMONY ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

We are having an unplugged ceremony so we ask that no phones, ipads, cameras, etc. be used during our ceremony. We promise to share the professional photos from our photographer! After the ceremony is over, we encourage our guests to post pictures on to their social media channels - #KEvan2021

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only (21+) event so that everyone can celebrate and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate the guests to whom our invitations were specifically addressed. Thank you for your understanding.

COVID-19

Answer

At this time, we remain cautiously optimistic about our wedding. Our venue has capacity for 250 and our attendees will be less than half, it will be indoor/outdoor (heaters and barring rain, and all CDC recommendations and restrictions will be strictly adhered to by guests and the venue (temperature checks, staff all masked/gloved, sanitzer stations). We are requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated at the time of the wedding to ensure everyone can celebrate safely!

We'll be mailing invitations over the summer and collecting responses digitally. You'll be able to RSVP in a matter of seconds using this website.
