Yes! We moved in June from Portland to Vancouver, WA! If you need our new address, let us know!
We're requesting festive attire, so let your clothes be loud! We love bright colors and prints. Break out your favorite florals, stripes, and polka dots. Bought an aspirational outfit or accessory that you haven't had a reason to wear? Put it on! We have wonderfully creative friends and family and want to see what you come up with! Our venue is air conditioned, but it's a warehouse space so on extremely hot days it's likely to be very warm, though evenings tend to cool down significantly. Portland weather is unpredictable so keep an eye on the forecast as it gets closer to the date!
We're serving a plant based buffet from some of our favorite local restaurants! We love food and want to make sure everyone is happy and full. We'll have gluten free, nut free, and soy free options. If you a food allergy or intolerance aside from these, please let us know and we'll do what we can to accommodate!
All will be revealed, though tickets aren't required to attend! You may have realized that JaJa PDX is a circus training facility and art space. Hint, hint. Since our kitty, Jareth, can't be part of our wedding, he's lending his considerable toy juggling talents to our invitation through our friend Sarah who created the illustration!
If you're flying cross country, it will absorb 2 days of your trip. Flying in on or before Thursday will give you a day to relax before having a day to party! How much time you want to spend in the area afterwards is up to you! If you've never been here, we recommend spending at least 4 days in Portland if you want to get a feel for the city, and a week or more if you want to do some day trips too. The coast, Hood River, and the wineries of Willamette Valley are all great places to visit. Seattle is about 3 hours by car (and accessible by Amtrak) if you want to do a larger tour of the Pacific Northwest. If you end up in Seattle, check out the Chihuly glass museum- it's amazing!
