In 2020, the world came to a screeching halt when the pandemic made it’s appearance. The pandemic, we soon found out, would change all of our lives. As COVID spread like wildfire, people panicked and began hoarding groceries and isolating to keep their closest family members safe. Throughout all this uncertainty, it seemed that only bad times were ahead of us. Who could have guessed that through these challenging times would also come the biggest blessing of all…bringing us together. Our love story began with a simple download of a dating app and setting up a profile in hopes of meeting someone to connect with virtually. This was followed by the infamous dating app swiping…believe us there was a lot of swiping. Finally, our profiles appeared on one another’s feed and we took turns making witty comments trying to make the other person laugh. After several days of chatting on the app we agreed to go on our first “virtual” date. As the fear of contracting COVID was still very much present, we had to become creative with date ideas. Virtual movie nights were one of our favorites, where we would have our favorite takeout delivered to one another. Two years later, we are still so thankful to have met each other and have been brought together during this crazy time in the world. We are so thankful for all of our friends and family who have supported us and formed the people who we are today. We are beyond excited to have you all at our wedding to celebrate our love story and to be present for the start of our new adventure together.
