Welcome to Hydra! Here's a few snaps of the island and our traditional Greek dinner at Xeri Elia Douskos restaurant. This place is an Hydra institution that's been around since the 1960s when Leonard Cohen and his artist friends hung out here on the regular. We sat outdoors under the trees in a hidden courtyard not far from the harbor. It was a fantastic place for everyone to get to know each other the night before the wedding!
The weather was perfect for our rooftop ceremony overlooking the harbor! Special thanks to our friends Camille Jackson for officiating and Caron Winslow for reading "Home" by Imelda May, and to Keslie's sister Michelle Osgood for running the music. We kept it short and sweet, and full of love and laughs (and a few joyful tears)!
In Hydriot tradition, Keslie was carried on horseback from the museum to restaurant, and everyone in town cheered for the happy couple! We had delicious food and cake under a canopy of greenery and danced amongst the trees. It was a perfect ending to a magical day!
